The Indie Megabooth has revealed the games it plans to showcase at PAX West in just a few short weeks. Traditionally, the booth sets up at major events and offers a curated space for indie developers to show their recently released or in-development games.
Inclusion in the booth itself can be a good way for indie developers to gain a foothold in bustling expo halls and can provide an invaluable way for devs to get their games directly into the hands of players and press alike.
All in all, 67 indie games are set to make an appearance at this year’s PAX West setup, in addition to 17 tabletop games. This year’s video game offerings include everything from West of Loathing to Mossmouth’s recently announced retro-throwback UFO 50.
A full list of games being showcased at both the Megabooth and its Minibooth counterpart can be found over on the Indie Megabooth's event page.
While submissions for future Megabooths are currently closed, there are a number of resources worth checking out ahead of time if you’re a developer looking to apply for the booth in the future.
The Indie Megabooth itself has a pretty comprehensive guide of what they look for in selected games up on its submission page. But if you’re looking for a more hands-on take, this 2016 blog post from Ogre Head Studio co-founder Zainuddeen Fahadh runs through the whole Indie Megabooth experience, from start to finish.
