Newsbrief: YoYo Games has finally made GameMaker Studio 2 available on Mac OS. The 2D game development platform launched on PC back in March, but now Mac users can finally get in on the action.
The Mac version includes all the same features as its Windows counterpart, and will retail at the standard starting price of $99.99.
YoYo has also rolled out an update alongside the Mac release that introduces new features like code folding, multi-touch support, an integrated debugger, and a "last used" list.
"After months carefully considering the feedback we received from beta testing and direct community outreach, we're confident that developers who prefer Mac can now feasibly create games on the often-ignored platform," said YoYo Games' general manager, James Cox.
