Virtual Reality Developers Conference organizers are highlighting a  VRDC Fall 2017 panel which will discuss learnings from two VR games: SUPERHOT VR and Surgeon Simulator: Experience Reality.

This sessions is part of the conference’s Games & Entertainment track of talks, which encompasses experts from around the world sharing insight into developing and designing for virtual- and augmented-reality technologies.

If you’re coming to VRDC Fall 2017, which is happening September 21-22 at a bigger, better venue in San Francisco, you won’t want to miss this panel!

Attend VRDC Fall 2017 to learn about immersive games & entertainment, brand experiences, and innovative use cases across industries.

In their talk Livestreaming VR Games: ‘SUPERHOT VR’ and ‘Surgeon Simulator: Experience Reality'”, Dan Rubenfield and Brett Holton will go over the challenges and benefits of VR streaming, how developers can capture a spectator audience for their VR game, and also how streaming can benefit virtual reality games.

Rubenfield is CTO of VREAL and has been developing games for over twenty years across mobile, social, console and PC. Holton is VP of Engineering at VREAL and brings over a decade of experience in software development and distributed systems design from both entertainment and enterprise markets.

The session will discuss how VREAL is working closely with VR game developers on a VR game streaming solution so that viewers can be in full VR with their favorite streamers. VREAL will share learnings from two VR games: SUPERHOT VR and Surgeon Simulator: Experience Reality.

A key goal of the panel is to provide insight for VR developers trying to figure out how to bring their content to wider audiences through spectating/live streaming. At the end, the panelists will gladly answer questions from the audience, so please join them to get your questions answered!

And of course, VRDC Fall 2017 organizers look forward to announcing many more talks for the event in the weeks to come. Don’t forget to register early at a discounted rate!

Since tickets sold out for the first three VRDC events, VRDC Fall 2017 will offer more sessions and move to a bigger location at the Hilton Union Square in San Francisco, CA September 21-22.
