If you've ever thought about making voice-based games for platforms like Amazon Echo or Google Home, heads up: Google updated its online "Experiments" hub today with a few examples of games and apps that devs can make for the company's voice assistant tech.

While the 4 examples posted are chiefly aimed at drumming up dev interest in Google's tools and tech, most of them can be played in any browser with access to a microphone.

Plus, devs should note that all of the new "Voice Experiments" clearly cite which (Google) tools they were built with and half of the experiments are open-source, so you can head over to GitHub and dig into how they work.

The advent of voice-based assistants like the Echo, Google Home, and Apple's Siri tech has inspired some devs to try their hands at writing interactive audio games, and tech companies have responded by releasing tools to help.
