AIAS launches new game dev podcast 'The Game Makers Notebook'

November 15, 2017 | By Chris Kerr

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) has launched 'The Game Makers Notebook,' a new podcast focused on the "inner workings of game makers and game makings."

The show will be hosted by Insomniac Games founder and CEO Ted Price, and will feature a series of in-depth, one-on-one conversations with developers.

It's hoped the podcast will provide the dev community with plenty of thoughtful, intimate perspectives on the art and business of making games.

"This is the perfect medium for the Academy to delve deeper into the inner workings of game makers and game making," said AIAS president Meggan Scavio.

"We plan on having a wide-ranging series of conversations with renowned and emerging voices. We want this to be a fun, informative conversation for everyone that loves games to participate in and shape over time."

Episode 1 is out right now, and includes interviews with Brendan 'PlayerUnknown' Greene and Guerrilla Games' managing director Hermen Hulst. You can give it a listen right here.
