Facebook is upping its game when it comes to video creation and streaming, which is good news for game streamers and video makers who use the platform.
The social media giant has launched two new initiatives with a view to giving its affectionately titled 'creators' a helping hand.
The first is a new 'Facebook Creator' mobile app that lets creators whip up original video content, go live with exclusive features, and connect with their fans on Facebook from their smartphone.
The app includes a 'live creative kit' that makes it easy to create live broadcasts with a personalized feel, complete with intros and outros, custom live stickers, and graphic frames.
It also features a community tab to let users connect with fans and collaborators, and centralizes comments and messages from Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger.
The company has also whipped back the curtain on 'Facebook for Creators,' a new website packed with resources and tips explaining how to create top notch videos, woo fans, and grow on Facebook.
"We are excited to see how creators use these tools to share video, interact with their followers, and grow their community on Facebook," reads a Facebook blog post.
"We are just getting started, and look forward to continuing to work collaboratively with creators to make their experience on Facebook even better."
The Facebook Creators app is available right now on iOS, and will be rolled out to Android users in the coming months. You can check out the Facebook for Creators page right here.
