Following its recent partnership with author James Frey
, mobile game publisher Glu Mobile has announced it will work with Blammo Games to publish two of the studio's titles within the next year.
Both Blammo-developed titles will use Glu's own tools and technology and will become part of the publisher's Glu Games Network.
These two titles will join Glu's current roster of published games, which include mobile titles from major publishers including Activision, Konami, and Warner Bros., as well as a handful of titles based on original IP.
Blammo games founder Christopher Locke previously led the studio responsible for the top 10 grossing iOS app Smurfs' Village
and Zombie Cafe
, which were both published by Capcom Mobile.
Smurfs' Village generated a stir
when it launched in late 2010, as the app allowed consumers to purchase in-game currency without inputting a password, meaning users could buy as much as $100 worth of content with just a few taps on the screen.
