Rockstar Games announced today that a PC port of its Xbox 360 and PS3 crime drama L.A. Noire
will be coming out this fall after shipping over 4 million copies on consoles.
The Rockstar Leeds-developed port will "run on a wide range of PCs" according to the announcement, and feature graphical enhancements, gamepad support and the option for stereoscopic 3D on hardware that supports it.
Rockstar has brought ports of many of its popular games -- including games in the Grand Theft Auto
series -- to the PC months or even years after their initial console release.
The company has not yet announced a PC port for last year's multi-million-selling Red Dead Redemption
NPD reports L.A. Noire
sold 889,000 new retail copies in the U.S. in May, leading game sales for the month but still falling short of analyst expectations
