More: Console/PC

This week should be a big one for October sales, with many key releases across the Western territories. Although there are games making debuts on all consoles in the West, there's a lull in Japan prior to the November/December pre-Christmas rush.

Games released in the United States:
PlayStation 2: SD Gundam Force: Showdown!, Under The Skin, BloodRayne 2, Midway Arcade Treasures 2, Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne
Xbox: Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders, Midway Arcade Treasures 2, Tak 2: Staff of Dreams, BloodRayne 2, Ty The Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue, FIFA Soccer 2005

This week in the US, the Gamecube gets a big boost with Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, with Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne as the other big RPG release for the week. Capcom holds up the wacky end of things with their niche action game Under the Skin, Midway Arcade Treasures 2 hits all three consoles at budget cost, and the PC gets FIFA Soccer 2005 amid a host of strategy titles.

Games released in Europe:
PlayStation 2: McFarlane's Evil Prophecy, NBA Ballers, Pro Evolution Soccer 4, TOCA Race Driver 2, Club Football 2005, Dukes of Hazzard: Return of the General Lee

Game Boy Advance: Tony Hawk's Underground 2, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire 2nd Edition, Around the World in 80 Days

This week the European territories see the console release of several team-specific Club Football 2005 games, following last weeks PC releases. Tony Hawks Underground 2 hits the rest of the consoles, Donkey Konga finally makes its European debut, and the PSone gets a new title almost 10 years after the release of the console.

Games released in Japan:
PlayStation 2: The Kyonshi Panic, The Love Mahjong 2, The Splatter Action, Virtua Fighter 2
Game Boy Advance: Mawaru Made in Wario
Gamecube: Kururin Squash!

Another short list for Japan, with three budget releases, notably The Splatter Action starring a pumpkin-headed character with a chainsaw, and the Sega Ages release of Virtua Fighter 2. Also of note is the newest in the Made in Wario series for the GBA.
