There have been no new entries in the UK top ten this week, although Animal Crossing: Wild World
has continued to perform in an atypical manner, moving up the charts to number three, after spending its initial three weeks static at number six.
Thanks to the British Easter and school holidays, other family titles have also continued to perform well, with Ice Age 2
kept off the number one spot only by Tomb Raider: Legend
and budget priced expansion The Sims 2 Family Fun Stuff
moving up seven places to number six.
Outside the top ten, the highest new entry is the much delayed release of SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy SEALs
at number twenty-two, with the PSP game SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs – Fireteam Bravo
at number thirty-eight. With limited marketing support from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, the series has never proven particularly popular in the UK, and the latest two games seem unlikely to change that status. The only other new entry in the top forty is Final Fantasy XI
for the Xbox 360 at number forty.
