September 5th, 2013 - Boston, MA - Reactive Studios announces an update to the interactive radio drama Codename Cygnus to address fan feedback and concerns for the game.

Pending Apple approval, the upcoming patch for Codename Cygnus will remove the Facebook login requirement, making it optional for players to save their data online. As early as next week, players may purchase episodes without logging into any service.

"It was a really dumb thing to do," says Jonathon Myers, Creative Director at Reactive Studios. "We needed a way to support our dedicated players with the creation of save game profiles online, but requiring a Facebook login from all players was far too much to ask. We really regret it, and we're very happy to listen to our fans and make this immediate change."

Reactive Studios will also run a limited time promotion for Codename Cygnus in the new update. Players may download and play the first 15 minute episode for free (a $1.99 value), or purchase all of Mission 1 for $6.99 ($1 off the price at launch). Individual episodes will continue to cost $1.99. claims "Codename Cygnus has an air of authenticity and quality that is uncommon in iOS-exclusive games” in their review.

Codename Cygnus is currently available to download for free on the Apple App Store for iPhones and iPads.
