GDC was crazy this year. Between running around the showfloor with meetings, manning the booth, and not sleeping for a week, some things were clear. Players want JetGetters on consoles. Platforms want JetGetters on consoles.

Initially, we really didn't want to do stretchgoals. They feel like something that can get out of hand easily. So we talked with the actual platform owners. And it's more than possible. We've got Xbox One devkits as part of the ID@Xbox program, and are a licensed developer for the PS4 and Wii U.

So we are announcing stretchgoals on JetGetters' Kickstarter to get the game onto consoles.

  • Stretch Goal $75k - Xbox One
  • Stretch Goal $85k - PS4
  • Stretch Goal $95k - Wii U
Xbox One seems to be easiest at this point due to the Devkit, with PS4 to follow due to similarity in how online works. Meanwhile Wii U would take a bit more work. This is the reasoning behind the goal structure.

About JetGetters:

JetGetters is Just Cause 2's crazy stunt moments merged with Battlefield's "jump out of a jet and shoot stuff" moments. It's a game about flying high in the sky and hijacking fighter jets. A multiplayer shooter from the creators of No Time To Explain. It is on Kickstarter right now with a minimum goal of $50k.
