LOS ANGELES, CA – May 13, 2014, GAMEVIL released its 2014 Q1 report, boasting gains in operating profit, sales, and net profit. According to the earnings announcement, GAMEVIL posted 27.8 billion KRW ($27.2 million USD) in sales, 3.8 billion KRW ($3.7 million USD) in operating profit, and 3.6 billion KRW ($3.5 million USD) in net profit. The numbers show a significant increase compared to GAMEVIL’s 2013 Q4, seeing gains of 24%, 104%, and 28%, respectively. Furthermore, the 2014 Q1 sales have increased 60% compared to Q1 of 2013, largely in part to the successful launch of new titles and the continued popularity of existing titles.

GAMEVIL looks to build upon their success by introducing eight new titles in Q2. Some of the marquee titles to launch in Q2 include “MLB Perfect Inning,” “Elements: Epic Heroes,” “Titan Warrior,” and “Fantasy Warlord.” The titles will focus on the global market and expand GAMEVIL’s mobile gaming presence.

With “MLB Perfect Inning,” GAMEVIL sets out to make a lasting mark on the sports genre. While GAMEVIL games generally focus on RPG and strategy titles, GAMEVIL’s commitment and investment in “MLB Perfect Inning” exemplifies the company’s desire to establish a firm standing in the sports genre as well.

GAMEVIL has shown consistent growth in both domestic and global markets. Two domestic projects in particular, "Dragon Blaze" and "ZENONIA Online," were smash hits upon launch and nearly doubled the earnings compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, while there were no major projects launched internationally, global sales still managed to report a 30% increase in earnings.

Overall, GAMEVIL’s games library include strategy, RPG, and other gaming genres. Each game in their respective genres consistently perform above the status quo. A steady increase in sales has led to a successful turn in profits.

GAMEVIL continues to build strong foundations outside of its domestic market. Its subsidiaries in the United States, China, and Japan will seek to expand in order to maximize global potential. Furthermore, GAMEVIL’s acquisition of Com2uS focuses the company’s efforts to affirm its position as a global leader in mobile game publishing. The results of the merger are expected to particularly excel through unique publishing opportunities and development.
