Renowned Explorers by Abbey Games

What’s next for the indie scene that gave the world Ridiculous Fishing, Fingle, Awesomenauts and countless other indie classics? A selection of ten of the most promising new and upcoming Dutch indie games are on show at the Holland Pavilion at Gamescom in Cologne.

“With a talent pool as deep as the Dutch development community, the collaborating partners had a hard time selecting the ten most impressive, innovative or downright fun games out of several dozen strong contenders”, says Marjoleine Timmer grant officer E-culture from the Creative Industries Fund NL. At the Holland Pavilion at Gamescom, visitors get a glimpse into the near future of this Dutch indie scene. All ten selected games are playable at the pavilion and the developers will be available for interviews.
