Berlin, 26/08/2014: Hazard Ops is now live! In order to celebrate the launch of Infernum's third-person action shooter, the team has released a brand new game update. The update includes the exciting new “Turret Defense” game mode, as well the previously mentioned as Mech Mode, 8 new Maps, weapons and numerous customisation options for players to tailor their mercenary.

In “ Turret Defense”, which resembles the famous tower defense genre, mercenaries will have to use the defense weapons available to them and protect their base against countless waves of enemies. The key to success is to have a steady aim and   strategically place defenses to prevent zombies from reaching critical locations. Each turret will cost points to build, so the best mercenaries out there will have to manage their resources carefully to come out on top.

Furthermore, all mercs will now be able to unleash the power of massive Mechs to wreak havoc on the battlefield. Players will be able to hop into massive robot-like suits to take part in team-based combat to the death.

Each Mech will be equipped with its own set of weapons, as well as a “jet pack” propulsion system that allows evasive maneuvers and tactical combat. One of the keys to victory will reside in the Mech customisation system, as it will enable players to create their own version of the perfect killing machine. Players should look to to complement one another in order to create the ultimate mass destruction team.

Hazard Ops is all about your personal WTF?!- moments and each update introduces new gameplay experiences that leaves players anticipating the next experiencefor what’s next!
