September 4, 2014 - Birmingham, AL - Alien Sync Interactive announces the launch of it’s latest game, “Cosmic Rocket Defender”, for Windows, MacOSX, and Linux desktop PCs.

Cosmic Rocket Defender, an arcade shooter (or shmup) fashioned after arcade games of yester-year, is launching today. Not only that but it is launching on sale. On top of that, each day the price increments up $1.00 until it reaches the regular price. The sale starts at $.99 today, goes to $1.99 Friday, and so on, until it reaches $5.99. You can catch the sale on the game website at and get it through Humble Bundle, or you can go to and pick it up there.

In Cosmic Rocket Defender, you move your rocket launcher left and right, firing rockets at swarms of alien spacecraft, blasting them out of the sky as they swoop down, strafe and attempt to dive bomb you out of existence. Capture trophies, extras, and cash to upgrade your speed, rocket power, and shields. Quick reflexes help you dodge alien particle cannons, death bombs, and blaster beams. Destroy or be destroyed!

Cosmic Rocket Defender launches September 4,  2014 on Desura and on it’s website at at
