Los Angeles, CA – November 2, 2016 – Mobile games publisher GAMEVIL was a key participant during this year's Unity conference "Unite '16 Los Angeles." Unite '16 is a three-day event where members of the gaming industry can learn about Unity Technologies' innovative development platform as well as network with like-minded developers, designers, and Unity aficionados. GAMEVIL USA President, Kyu Lee, was one of 50+ keynote speakers and offered his wisdom and insights to one of the largest gaming events worldwide. The keynote revolved around GAMEVIL's upcoming MMORPG  Royal Blood.

As one of the original members of GAMEVIL, Kyu gained the knowledge and expertise to ultimately establish and run GAMEVIL USA, Inc. in 2006. With experience in both the technical and business aspects of game publishing and development, Kyu was a valuable mentor to attendees of Unite '16. His presentation revealed Unity-specific techniques and tools used during  Royal Blood development.

Participants of the conference immediately noticed the impressive graphical fidelity of GAMEVIL's MMORPG  Royal Blood. Powered by Unity,  Royal Blood positions itself to close the gap between PC and mobile graphics. Early gameplay footage indicates that  Royal Blood will closely resemble current PC MMORPGs. Environments will have high polygon counts and detailed textures, allowing for developers to create unparalleled mobile gaming content. The Unity Engine consistently produces smooth framerates, even in situations with more than 15+ concurrent players. As stated in the presentation, cooperative gameplay will be dynamically generated. Players will be able to move through an open world where they can seamlessly transition from solo missions to multi-party raids.  Royal Blood will also incorporate fully-featured towns, expansive levels, and multiple camera angles that were previously difficult to accomplish on mobile.

Royal Blood is GAMEVIL's first MMORPG and exclusively uses the Unity development platform. By pushing the boundaries of the Unity engine, GAMEVIL has shattered pre-conceived notions of not only what is possible with Unity, but with mobile gaming as well. The limitless capabilities of the engine let a developer's only limit be their imagination. GAMEVIL plans to release  Royal Blood in 2017.
