Jakarta, July 12 2017 — Since 2014, “Tebak Gambar” has 18 million users in Indonesia who  downloaded the game. It always on the first rank of Top Chart Play Store for Puzzle categories since 2014. Now after succeeding with “Tebak Gambar”, indie game developer Kardus Imajinasi are proudly announced a new game called “DET: solve the mystery” which can be downloaded at Play Store.

This game is started when the President of the World asks Det to solve cases of the missing things in the world. Det have to solve the mysterious cases with the available clues. Your goal is to help Det by giving a word related to the available clues. The more cases you missed, the more difficult to find the clue.

“DET: solve the mystery” is not an ordinary puzzle game. The mysterious cases you have to solve will make this game more unique than another games. Why is it mysterious? Because to solve every case, we need logical thinks and connect all the available clues until we can conclude a word as an answer. The answer can be objects, creatures, professions, etc.

“We are proud because we can entertain gamers with our puzzle game of ‘Tebak Gambar’. Even only with a simple content, but we can entertain everyone. And our theme can inspire another companies to create a marketing campaign/activity which have the same pattern with ‘Tebak Gambar’. And with this new game of ‘DET: solve the mystery’ with its positive content, we hope it will become a positive game especially during Ramadhan,” said Irwanto Widyatri as a co-founder of Kardus Imajinasi.

Fact 1. The way to play game "DET" describes the habits of many people who forgot the name of an object so it must explain the characteristics of that object to be understood by the interlocutor.

Fact 2. After 2 years working together for “Tebak Gambar” game, "Kardus Imajinasi" team just met face to face. And game development process done remotely.

Fact 3. In its development, the game "DET" is targeted for Indonesian market only, but since some of our non-Indonesian friends can answer some questions of this game, we finally expanded the target market of this game and added a feature to change the language include the answer.


We are an indie game developer that focus on developing games to train imagination and to tease the brain. Kardus Imajinasi was formed on July 9, 2013 located in Jakarta and Surabaya. Our team consists of 5 very talented people in the field of social media, technology, and design. We have a vision to develop an entertaining positive content in a creative and innovative way. When we were kids, our team members had the same experiences that all toys have been played must be put into a cardboard. We hope that we can be a venue to develop entertaining and educating games. That is the reason we called our studio as “Kardus Imajinasi”. (In Bahasa Indonesia kardus means cardboard box, and Imajinasi means imagination)
