Fayetteville, AR - September 19, 2017 - Brain&Brain’s folktale adventure Burly Men at Sea makes its console debut today, available on both PS4 and PS Vita for $9.99. The Cross-Buy title includes Trophies, Cross-Save support, and 4K rendering on the PS4 Pro. In addition to the game, avatars and the game’s original soundtrack are available on PlayStation Store.

A new trailer, featuring Burly Men at Sea’s whimsical mouthcrafted sound design, was released yesterday:

Recently exhibited at the Smithsonian American Art Museum and an Honorable Mention at the 2017 IGF, Burly Men at Sea is a folktale about a trio of large, bearded fishermen who step away from the ordinary to seek adventure. Set in the waters of early 20th-century Scandinavia, the game's story branches through a series of encounters with creatures from folklore. You play as storyteller and wayfinder, shaping the narrative around three ungainly heroes.

About Brain&Brain

Brain&Brain is game dev duo David and Brooke Condolora. Most recently, they developed folktale adventure Burly Men at Sea during their own adventures as nomads and erstwhile farmhands. They’re now based in an old mill in the Ozarks with their indomitable cairn terrier, Oliver Doggins, who inspired their first game and accompanies them on all dog-friendly escapades.
