Project Nimbus Set To Leave Early Access
MECHA SHOOT-EM-UP “PROJECT NIMBUS” SET TO SOAR OUT OF STEAM EARLY ACCESS ON SEPTEMBER 26TH WITH A PS4 LAUNCH ON THE HORIZON
Explosive anime STG Project Nimbus is set to unleash its flying mecha monsters onto PC as it receives a full official launch date and upcoming PS4 release
September 20th, 2017, Phuket, Thailand: KISS Ltd, GameTomo and GameCrafterTeam are thrilled to reveal that their epic anime inspired mecha monolith Project Nimbus is leaving Early Access and officially launching this month. From September 26th PC gamers will enter the post apocalyptic skies of Project Nimbus and pilot a dizzying array of ‘Battle Frames,’ colossal, planet shattering war machines armed to the teeth with laser swords, rail guns and LOTS of missiles.
PS4 gamers can also gear up for some classic mecha mayhem as Project Nimbus is coming to the platform fully optimised to deliver an incredibly polished PS4 experience. The first two acts from the high flying mecha shooter will be coming to PS4 players in Japan this Autumn under the title “Project Nimbus: Code Mirai”, with the full and final game coming the rest of the world in early 2018.
Mankind has evacuated to the skies after a great war destroyed the Earth’s surface, making it unable to support human life, and with resources scarce, humanity is again on the brink of another full scale war. In Project Nimbus, players must battle a devastating army of enemy Battle Frames, duel with supersonic pilots, engage motherships and face off against giant world-ending weapons.
After a successful Kickstarter campaign, Project Nimbus launched onto Steam Early Access in 2014 and has received a flurry of huge updates leading up to the official launch. Since Project Nimbus entered Early Access it has received 15 new exhilarating missions, devastating weapon variants for your Battle Frame, powerful new machine enemies and endless gameplay updates to streamline the Project Nimbus experience.
“Project Nimbus has expanded massively since its Early Access launch, and we’re so thrilled with the final product. If you’re a fan of classic Japanese mecha, you will adore Project Nimbus. It offers all the robocidal, high octane chaos evangelists know and love, whilst the addictive, exciting gameplay and intriguing story will also delight newcomers to the genre.” Said Pawee Pakamekanon, Project Leader at GameCrafterTeam.
“Early Access was such a fantastic opportunity for Project Nimbus, and the community feedback has meant we can now offer the best possible incarnation for full commercial launch. We can’t wait to see Project Nimbus soar!” Said Darryl Still, Co-Founder and CEO of Kiss Ltd
GameCrafterTeam is a small pioneering indie studio based in Phuket, Thailand. Mecha flying action shoot ‘em up Project Nimbus is their first game to launch on Steam - one of only a small number of Steam releases developed in Thailand.
