STICK SPORTS PARTNERS WITH SYDNEY INDIE STUDIO JUMP PUNCH KICK TO PUBLISH T20 CARD CRICKET
SYDNEY - Stick Sports Ltd, the creators of Stick Cricket and Stick Tennis, today announced it has entered into an agreement with indie game studio Jump Punch Kick to publish T20 Card Cricket globally.
A memory-puzzle game with a cricket twist, T20 Card Cricket allows players to create their own batting superstar and score runs by matching identical cards - avoiding the dreaded ‘Howzat’ cards that will end your innings prematurely!
“Jump Punch Kick are very excited to be teaming up with Stick Sports to release our innovative sports/puzzle game on mobile devices this summer,” said Jonathan Kerr, founder of Jump Punch Kick. “Every sports fan has heard of Stick Sports, so we jumped at the opportunity to work with them.”
T20 Card Cricket is Sydney-based studio Jump Punch Kick’s first game and will
be the first externally-produced title published by Stick Sports Ltd.
“Stick Sports has been creating sports games for sports fans for well over a decade now, with millions around the world enjoying our chart-topping cricket and tennis titles,” said Paul Collins, Stick Sports Ltd Managing Director.
“It was clear from the outset that Jump Punch Kick share our passion for cricket games and we saw an opportunity to bring T20 Card Cricket, a unique take on the genre, to a global audience just in time for an Ashes summer.”
T20 Card Cricket will be available on the App Store and Google Play later this year.
