Just in time for Halloween, the dark, sci-fi indie 2D platformer Orphan will launch on October 31 on Steam and GOG.

Orphan is set in Appalachia and stars a young boy who appears to be the lone survivor of an invasion of Earth by an army of machines. Though the silhouette graphics may remind some of the puzzle-platformer Limbo, Orphan emphasizes action and adventure, featuring an array of alien weaponry, enemies and giant boss battles.

Orphan was developed by the one-man studio Windy Hill after a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2015. For more information, see the game's Steam page at https://store.steampowered.com/app/549700/Orphan/

Releases for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and other platforms are TBA.

Review copies of the game are now available via Steam keys.
