Seoul, 01/18/2019: Developer Red Duck opens its servers today for its 2nd Closed Beta Test of online, first-person shooter A.V.A Dog Tag. Players will experience the all new Dual Sight map as well as a bunch of additional new features, like the Shooting Range. The servers will be live until January 31st. In collaboration with the ESL, A.V.A Dog Tag hosts the first CBT ESL Community Cup, starting January 20th.

Players have been signing up for the Closed Beta in the past weeks and additionally some  fortunate souls were lucky to grab a key via giveaways hosted on various participating gaming websites. The second Closed Beta brings a lot of new features and improvements for players to dive into and test out: Via the brand new Shooting Range option players can choose their weapons and attachments to directly test recoil and handling, allowing them to try each weapon with different types of weapon mods before heading into a game. The game will also introduce custom channels providing the opportunity to create rooms to test and play with friends. Besides additional quality-of-life improvements, the new game version features a new map called Dual Sight, available for both the Demolition and Annihilation game modes.

As of now players are able to sign up and enter the first ever CBT ESL Community Cup. The tournament will feature 5 vs. 5 Demolition matches, therefore players have to sign-up with teams of 5. The matches will be livestreamed and additional goodies are being given away in form of Steam gift cards to the audience. The CBT ESL Community Cup starts January 20th and ends with the Finals on January 30th, with Steam Gift Cards worth 300$ as first prize.

More information on how to sign up and what other prizes players can win, can be found on the official A.V.A Dog Tag website, as well as on the official ESL website

The A.V.A Dog Tag CBT will run from January 18th to 31st. Players can join the A.V.A Dog Tag Discord to share their feedback during beta directly with the development team and other enthusiastic fans.

About A.V.A Dog Tag

Alliance of Valiant Arms: Dog Tag (A.V.A: Dog Tag) is a free-to-play, online, first-person shooter, developed by Red Duck Inc., built on Unreal Engine 3.

The game, now in its Beta phase, features exciting teamplay with two modes currently ready to dive into. Players either fight for overall domination in Annihilation mode by being the first of two teams to reach the preset score or having the highest score before time runs out. To put their tactical expertise to the test, players can jump into Demolition mode, the all-time favourite terrorist vs counter-terrorist scenario, featuring EU and NRF forces in Red Ducks own take on the genre.

After choosing one of three classes, players can customize their loadout with a wide variety of weapons.

Key Features:

  • three different classes: Sniper (long-range), Point Man (close quarters combat) and Rifleman (All-rounder)
  • wide variety of weapons, all reworked and remastered
  • two game modes: Annihilation and Demolition with more in the pipeline
  • all-time favourite maps renewed within Unreal 3 engine, including new layouts and new hideouts
