From a fun wave shooter game jam to a cooperative masterpiece, TwinCop launches on Steam, Kartridge, and Itch.io
Raleigh - May 10th, 2019 - Over 2 years ago, Finite Reflection Studios made a fun wave shooter game jam that required 2 people to work together and control one character. This gameplay mechanic was too much fun to leave as a wave shooter, so the team at Finite Reflection Studios decided to make TwinCop their next big project. Today, that project releases on Steam, Kartridge, and Itch.io.
TwinCop takes co-op gaming to the next level with Hotline Miami-like gun fights to WarioWare-style mini-games. Everything in TwinCop requires 2 people working together to complete.
Finite Reflection Studios has released a launch trailer in collaboration with the launch that touches on the back story of how TwinCop came to be and shows off a variety of gameplay elements that make TwinCop a must play for anyone that enjoys couch co-ops: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJMm1qzgZyY)
TwinCop follows two cops that almost died in a pontoon boat accident, only to be saved by being fused together. Now sharing 1 full body, these two cops must work in sync with one another to survive. What truly happened with that pontoon boat accident? Who is funding the war on the Twin Cities streets? What does the PopTop Corporation (creators of the delicious and healthy PopTop Drink) have to do with any of this?
TwinCop releases today on Steam, Kartridge, and Itch.io at 12 AM EST.
