June 12, 2019 - Devsisters celebrates 10 years of GingerBrave. The hero of the popular CookieRun series made his first appearance on June 6, 2009 in the mobile game OvenBreak.

All throughout the day, the official Cookie Run Twitter (https://twitter.com/cookierun) will celebrate the occasion with behind-the-scenes artefacts and special birthday greetings. Use the hashtag #GingerBrave10th to join the party!

Simple beginnings, a grand journey

Run, run as fast as you can!

You can't catch me. I'm the Gingerbread Man!”

This short verse from the fairy tale of the GingerBread man inspired the story of GingerBrave, a little Cookie who came to live after the Witch who baked him mixed up the cinnamon powder with magic powder. This simple idea kicked off a journey out of the oven, through the Witch’s kitchen and garden, out into the wide world and even into outer space!

In the following years, Cookie Run (2013) and Cookie Run: OvenBreak (2016) expanded the setting around GingerBrave by introducing a whole society of Cookies and their many adventures in a sprawling world of sweets and pastries. From OvenBreak to Cookie Run: Ovenbreak, the adventures of GingerBrave have been downloaded more than 140 million downloads world-wide.

GingerBrave has occasionally yielded the center stage to the many other unique and diverse Cookies that have made their appearance over the years, but he remains at the heart of the franchise and maintains the honor of greeting players from the Cookie Run: OvenBreak app icon to this day - even though he sometimes strengthens his appearance by “borrowing” other Cookies’ outfits.

GingerBrave will always keep on running, but he’s also branching out into a range of other activities, be it with the tactical battle game Cookie Wars, the upcoming match-3 puzzler CookieRun JellyPop, and many more exciting new forms in the future.

Find out everything about the birthday celebrations and other news of GingerBrave’s adventures on the official Cookie Run: OvenBreak Twitter (https://twitter.com/cookierun) and Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/CookieRun) pages.
