Rotterdam, The Netherlands, 14th January, 2020: Known for their unique and innovative worldwide Game Session Hosting solution, Gameye is happy to announce that they are adding two more games to their portfolio. After starting out in the esports sector, successfully proving the advantages of deploying multiplayer game sessions as close to the player as possible, with clients like Battlefy, Toornament and, Gameye has moved on to work with game studios directly, implementing the Gameye technology as from early stages of game development.

Having built a close relationship with PC, console and mobile games powerhouse Toadman Interactive over the last years, Gameye has been hosting their hit game ‘Block N Load’, which has engaged more than 3.5 million players worldwide, for over half a year now.

Andreas Jonsson, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Toadman Interactive AB said: "Considering our growing catalogue of games, it is always important for us to look at the latest and best technologies and how they can help us improve our products. We’re happy to have a partner in Gameye, that delivers a cost efficient game hosting solution with unmatched reach, ensuring the best experience possible for our players."

Gameye’s successful projects have not gone unnoticed in the market and it is with great pride that Gameye is able to announce that R8 Games will run their new Combat Racer game ‘Pacer’ on Gameye’s scalable infrastructure. Being involved in a project early and being able to provide experience in hosting games, is a fantastic way of paving the way for a partnership with maximized potential.

Steve Iles, Studio Manager at R8 Games said:

“Building a fun and stable online multiplayer experience for Pacer and our players is hugely

important to the development team. We chose Gameye because of their focus and ability on

providing low latency infrastructure where and when we needed it in the world, along with

their attractive cost-efficient business model. We’re delighted to be a partner with Gameye

and are looking forward to a successful multiplayer launch.”

“We are really happy to utilize our technology for exactly what we build it for,” said Sebastiaan Heijne, CEO of Gameye. “Our goal is to provide gamers with the best multiplayer experience out there and confirm our thought leader position in the gaming industry, when it comes to hosting games. There is no better way to do this, than working directly and closely with the game studios actually making those games. “

The Gameye team will be available for live demonstrations at their booth at GDC in March 2020.
