[This unedited press release is made available courtesy of Gamasutra and its partnership with notable game PR-related resource GamesPress.]

Stracos LLC. is proud to announce the successful launch of the Line Simulator Alpha Demo on Steam for the Oculus Rift Virtual Reality environment. Line Simulator is exactly what you think it is, a game about standing in line! The purpose of this demo launch is to increase player engagement with the game and begin collecting feedback for refinement and implementation.

Line Simulator, due to release early November, highlights the niche of human response in strange albeit hilarious ways through its gameplay, giving players agency to make decisions and experience firsthand the ramifications in their virtual environment.

This success marks a huge step forward for Stracos as a fresh new face in the gaming industry. As a startup with an Indie Gaming division, this is the first game development project for what is currently a compact team of skilled and passionate professionals.

So what’s next for Line Simulator? Stracos puts it best:

“We have never done this before, so we're leaving it up to fans like you to help us. This team is willing to fail until we get this right, and Line Simulator is the first in a long line of passion projects we plan to launch and update over the next decade as we tighten our core and grow our team.

“Will you be the next page in our success story? We hope so.

Some things that would really help us are as follows:

  • Try out our demo and give us your feedback and criticism

  • Write up and publish how you felt about our Demo experience (Don't forget to share it with us to be featured on the Media page of our website once it goes live next week!)

  • Live stream your gameplay! (Again, let us know when you do this so we can grab some popcorn and pull up a front row seat for the show. If the video is saved, we'll also feature this on our Media page!)

  • Join our new Discord community page (and invite your friends!) to join in the daily discourse. You'll also receive live updates straight from our team!

Feel free to check out and post to our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or LinkedIn!
