Crows Crows Crows. Berlin, Germany. Nov. 25th 2020

That’s it. Indie games studio Crows Crows Crows have recently partnered with tech-behemoth TensorFlow on an ambitious neural network project which seeks to revolutionize the business of community outreach and marketing for small game studios everywhere. With the help of TensorFlow, they have developed a sophisticated neural network which allows them to generate potentially infinite unique newsletters tailored to any individual who wants one. Anyone could access the neural network, and 2 minutes later have a generated newsletter so relevant to them as a person, it’d be as if it had been written by a dear friend.

Try it at:

But how? We’ll try and explain. Historically, Crows Crows Crows has written 37 newsletters to their community, which, along with Webster’s dictionary, they have fed into the neural network model. This they have termed the “base data”. The customisation element comes with what they call “variable input data”, which comes from the questionnaire required to generate a newsletter. Like alchemy, the variable input data transforms the base data into pure gold, ie. a fully customised, fully unique newsletter.

But why? Because people are individuals. They don’t want to be written to indirectly, as part of a giant collective known as “the fans”. People want to feel as if their favourite studios are talking to them directly, and catering to their individual tastes. So what better way to give back to the fans than to grant them this sad illusion?

What Crows Crows Crows has developed is massively exciting for the industry at large, as it totally revolutionises community engagement and activation. Not only does it give fans what they want, but it saves a studio time and money in tedious, hands-on newsletter production. In theory, this neural network would allow one to generate infinite newsletters – all including original artwork, synthetic memes, jokes, and so on – with no actual human hours spent away from the expensive work of game development. This is only relevant to game studios, not to all kinds of businesses, large and small.

Crows Crows Crows have also used this network for promotional purposes, namely the inclusion of Accounting+, in the Ultimate Comedy VR Bundle, available on Steam on November 25th. And, in fact, we’ll promote that here too.For a limited time only, Accounting+, along with titles such as Trover Saves the Universe, Job Simulator, and Virtual Virtual Reality, will be available for 40% of the retail value from November 25th. If you already own a title in the bundle, you can still get the price-adjusted 40% discount on the games you don’t own. All these games are quality, and all these games are comedy. It’s a late November miracle!

According to Crows Crows Crows themselves: “Seriously, neural networks are amazing. We don’t have our hands on the tap. We’ve busted the whole reservoir open and exposed the parameters for public control. Everybody who is subscribed to our newsletter will now receive the means to produce a completely personalized email from the studio. The ownership will also be tokenized and transferred using crypto technology just to be safe. If you wish to license this technology from us, please contact
