B/HI, A DIVISION OF 42WEST, PROMOTES NICOLE YAVASILE AND JONAH KEEL TO VICE PRESIDENTS
LOS ANGELES, CA - February 17, 2021 – Coming on the heels of its recent acquisition by Dolphin Entertainment, B/HI, a new division of 42West, today announced the promotions of two of its senior staff, Nicole Yavasile and Jonah Keel, from Senior Directors to Vice Presidents, it was jointly announced by Presidents Dean Bender and Shawna Lynch. In a separate yet related announcement, the company hired former Wargaming and Wizards of the Coast PR Executive Jamie King to its thriving video games and esports practice.
Yavasile, who has been with B/HI for nearly 12 years, currently creates and executes global and domestic publicity and communications strategies for film, television, mobile gaming, publishing and streaming content, consumer products, global franchises and beyond. She, along with Lynch, has been instrumental in leading the PR efforts for Amazon Studios, CBS Home Entertainment, Funko, Magnolia Pictures and DC Comics, including the award-winning campaign for Batman’s 80th Anniversary, among others. Prior to that, she worked at Phyllis Klein & Associates, where she represented lifestyle accounts.
“After more than a decade of working side by side with Nicole, I am consistently impressed with her strategic capabilities, creativity and unbridled enthusiasm for the agency’s partners, said Lynch. “With our recent acquisition and new capabilities, she will be a huge contributor to the growth of our client roster.”
Beginning as the agency’s Business Development lead, Keel quickly transitioned into managing day-to-day efforts for several gaming accounts. As the lead of the video games and esports practice, Keel’s clients include Nexon, Survios, Tencent, Wildlife Studios and GreenPark Sports, among others. Prior to joining B/HI, Keel had stints at Click Communications and Disney Home Entertainment.
“It became quickly apparent that Jonah had a real connection to the gaming space and with his passion, he’s achieved some real milestones on behalf of his clients,” said Bender. “Because gaming has become mainstream entertainment, Jonah has been able to bring his film experience to the gaming world and his clients have prospered.”
Joining Keel in the video games/esports practice is Jamie King, former PR Manager of Wargaming America and Senior Communications Manager for Wizards of the Coast. Reporting directly to Keel, King, with more than 10 years of video games PR experience, joins B/HI as an Account Director and will be responsible for client management and new business efforts.
