AJ Ryan's Blog

I'm AJ Ryan, developer of games! My primary areas of game development expertise are design, programming, and accessibility. I'm all about game accessibility, which is why I recently founded Inclusive Games, which aims to create and consult to create more accessible video games.

One unique thing about me is I use my feet to do everything. From developing games to typing on this blog, my feet are always active! I use my feet because I have a disability, Arthrogryposis, so I'm in a wheelchair as I'm unable to walk or use my hands. That's why I only use me feet!

The reason I initially got into game development is because I wanted to show how great game accessibility can be for the industry. I also wanted to show others how game accessibility can be achieved as there's not too many resources out there about game accessibility from a developer's point of view.

I'll be analyzing video games on my blog on accessibility as well as design. I'll also educate on how one can make their games more accessible.

If you'd like to keep up with me, please give me a follow on twitter @ONLYUSEmeFEET!
