Darius Kazemi's Blog
I like orange. Also, I'm a game developer. I run Orbus Gameworks
, where we do nifty things with gameplay metrics. I have a game industry blog called Tiny Subversions
where I write about networking (as in meeting people) and other general game industry topics. I am also running for IGDA Board in 2010
Combat in Assassin's Creed 2 is sometimes decried as too easy. I see it as a swashbuckling simulator that affords depth of expression.
This blog post outlines how you can get GameMaker 7 to update Twitter, using Derek Yu's Spelunky as a specific example.
In this post, Daniel Benmergui explains how he got a patron to fund his latest game, Today I Die, and I examine Daniel's funding model for his next game: internet patrons donate money and in return they get a unique stamp on his next game.
Whenever I get a resume from a student looking for an internship, I end up giving them an impromptu resume critique. I give the same advice over and over, so I decided to just write it up here!

I remember years ago when you first started the program, there was no way for me to track any kind of analytics on my posts. Basically, it would be helpful for me to know if Gamasutra gets me more exposure than my own blog, and it 's nice to know ...

Just a note to anyone reading this: the solution no longer works now that Twitter requires OAuth to log in to an account.
