Tracy Fullerton is the Director of USC Games, the #1 ranked program for game design in North America. She is an experimental game designer, professor and author who has been making games and writing about their development for over two decades. At the USC School of Cinematic Arts, she holds the Electronic Arts Endowed Chair in Interactive Entertainment and runs the division of Interactive Media & Games. Her research center, the Game Innovation Lab, has produced a number of influential independent games, including Cloud, flOw, Darfur is Dying, The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom, and The Night Journey -- a collaboration with media artist Bill Viola. Her current game Walden, a game, has been honored with an NEA grant and selected for the Sundance New Frontiers Story Lab. Tracy is the author of “Game Design Workshop: A Playcentric Approach to Creating Innovative Games,” a design textbook in use at game programs worldwide.
