The organizers of the Internet Marketing Association (IMA) series of events have announced that the next event, to be held on Apr. 20 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Costa Mesa (CA) Hilton, will turn the spotlight on the exploding world of online and professional video gaming and the business opportunities they present.

Keynote featured presenters will be Johnathan Wendel (aka "Fatal1ty"), the world's #1 cyber-athlete, and Steve Erickson, Vice President of Creative Labs. Moderator will be Sinan Kanatsiz, IMA chairman and CEO of San Clemente-based strategic marketing communications firm KCOMM.

Other prominent speakers for this exceptional event will include: Perry Viscounty - Co-Chair of the Global Intellectual Property & Technology Group and Partner, Latham Watkins; Steve Gould - CEO, Auravision; Tony Crisp - CEO, Crisp Brands; Suki Reed - CEO,; and Stuart Wallock - Director of Marketing, New Egg.

Topics to be addressed in a wide ranging look at video gaming will include an overview of gaming and where it's heading, how corporations reach new demographics on the Internet, how brands plan to grow with gaming, and how branding to the gaming community differs from traditional branding.

In addition, other information includes how companies can utilize the Internet for brand marketing, how gaming can be a positive educational tool, legal issues in online gaming promotions and advertisements, what percentage of business is gaming based, and what companies can do to support gaming initiatives.
