Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list.

Rockstar's Western-themed sandbox adventure title Red Dead Redemption is set to premiere for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this week. Both platforms will also soon receive the Black Rock Studio-developed stunt racer Split/Second, along with Ubisoft Montreal's Prince of Persia series interquel The Forgotten Sands.

Platform-exclusive highlights for this week include Remedy Entertainment's Xbox 360 action-thriller Alan Wake, the Wii's Trauma Center follow-up Trauma Team, and the Nintendo DS Blue Dragon sequel Awakened Shadow.
