, often described as "beautiful" and "breath-taking," has now been nominated for the Excellence in Visual Arts IGF award. This talk will focus on how a small, three-person team accomplished this. The primary artist, Thomas Shahan, had never worked on a video game before. We will discuss the challenges of working with a non-industry artist, adapting an existing art style to the game, and technically achieving said style. Incredipede
is also one of the first major Flash games to use the graphics card-enabling technology Stage3D.
