Nvidia launches its own game streaming service, called GRID

November 13, 2014 | By Mike Rose

With Sony currently exploring game streaming with its PlayStation Now service, Nvidia today said that it will launch its own game streaming service next week in North America.

GRID, due to launch on November 18 in NA and next month in Europe, is a service that Nvidia describes as "Netflix for games" -- essentially allowing users to stream games to their Nvidia Shield tablet and handheld.

The service will be free until June 30, 2015, at which point pricing will come into effect -- Nvidia has not yet said how much it will cost.

To begin GRID will feature 20 games, including Batman: Arkham City, Borderlands 2, Brutal Legend and Psychonauts.

You can read more about how GRID works on the Nvidia blog.
