Newsbrief: HTC sold 15,000 Vive virtual reality headsets in less than 10 minutes after opening pre-orders yesterday.
HTC's Shen Ye, who was clearly impessed with the numbers, broke the news on Twitter.
The consumer version of the Steam VR-powered Vive can currently be pre-ordered for $799 in the U.S., £689 in the UK, and €899 across the rest of Europe.
Anyone who pre-orders a headset will also get their hands on a limited software bundle featuring VR games Fantastic Contraption and Job Simulator, as well as Google's virtual reality painting studio, Tilt Brush.
