Before Blendo Games' Brendon Chung made the IGF Grand Prize award-winning Quadrilateral Cowboy, he made the IGF award-nominated first-person adventure game Thirty Flights of Loving

The game's development is interesting because Chung was, according to a chat he had with Gamasutra in 2013, a bit under the gun: Thirty Flights was promised as a reward for the Idle Thumbs Kickstarter, and thus he had to work against "a fairly tight deadline."

Now, many years later, Chung has uploaded a 30-video playlist to YouTube that showcases how different facets of the game were developed using a modified version of the Quake 2 engine.

It's a fun, quick watch (it's all time-lapse videos, and most are under a minute long) that covers everything from scripting a wedding to constructing a cat to designing the game's box art. Plus, it has a nice jazzy soundtrack.

You can find it over on the Blendo Games YouTube account, nestled alongside some older videos documenting Quadrilateral Cowboy's development that are also worth a watch.
