Today's round-up of the best posts at the CMP Game Group's new GameSetWatch video game weblog includes information on the new Japanese Final Fantasy XII soft drink, details on modding for PC indie title Weird Worlds, and news on PopTop Software founder Phil Steinmeyer's new casual game.

- Square Enix has announced details of the 'Final Fantasy XII Potion' soft drink series, and "Suntory, famous for their whiskeys, Boss canned coffees, and oolong teas, will target a relaxing but energizing taste for the drink."

- Independent PC developer Digital Eel has outlined a modding guide for its IGF entry Weird Worlds: Return To Infinite Space, which "thrusts you bodily around a strange galaxy, collecting odd artifacts and dueling in 'an infinitely replayable universe full of danger and surprises'."

- Former PopTop boss Phil Steinmeyer has signed up with PopCap for his casual PC title Bonnie's Bookstore, commenting: "My last full retail PC game, Railroad Tycoon 3, took about 2.5 years to develop with a 13 person team, and that was considered quite small. This new game will be done in about 4 months with a 2 person team (myself and a very talented artist). Very refreshing."
