Kiz Studios Reveals Exclusive Weapon and Skin Designed by Popular “Player vs Player” Webcomic Creator Scott Kurtz

SmashMuck Champions joins Steam’s “Early Access” program: the game is offered for play while still in development specifically to receive feedback from Steam users in order to help improve and finalize the game.  Kiz Studios is offering a full complement of Steam special features with the “Early Access” launch, including Steam Trading Cards and Badges as well as exclusive items such as profile backgrounds and emotes for use in-game.


Players can now download an exclusive weapon and skin for Champion Z-314 designed by Eisner and Harvey award-winning cartoonist Scott Kurtz. Scott has helped pioneer online comics with his daily series Player vs Player ( and has taken tabletop gaming to new comic heights with D&D inspired Table Titans (  The weapon – the “Boom Stick” – and the “Dungeon Master Z” skin can be either purchased in the shop or earned in-game through XP and Crafting. 


SmashMuck Champions is an online arena combat game that combines action, skill and strategy to create fast-paced and twisted mayhem. The game is an accessible-but-competitive alternative to traditional MOBAs, and features faster matches, incredible teamwork, innovative Champion designs and FPS-style game modes that welcome new players and challenge MOBA veterans.

Players are tasked with building and managing a “SmashMuck” team by acquiring, customizing and training fighters before sending them into battle. Combat is frenetic but easy-to-learn, with tons of unique skills, weapons and attacks as well as items and upgrades to unlock and master.
