Karlsruhe, 25.02.2014 – Online games publisher Gameforge has partnered with U.S. developer Robot Entertainment to handle European publishing for a new, unannounced PC project, slated for release in 2014.

Based in Plano, Texas, Robot Entertainment has made a name for itself with the widely popular Orcs Must Die!™ PC franchise, as well as engaging mobile & PC titles Hero Academy™ and Echo Prime™. Founded in 2009 by core members of former developer Ensemble Studios ( Age of Empires series, Halo Wars), Robot Entertainment has showcased its talent for innovative game design coupled with stunning visuals, gaining much critical acclaim and multiple awards including “AIAS Strategy/Simulation Game of the Year” for Orcs Must Die! and “AIAS Best Mobile Game” for Hero Academy.

"Robot is eager to expand its global reach. Gameforge is the strongest publisher in Europe, and we are excited they will help deliver our next game to even more players. We cannot wait to unveil this game to fans soon” said Patrick Hudson, CEO at Robot Entertainment.

Alexander Rösner, CEO at Gameforge, added: "Gameforge and Robot Entertainment are a superb match – we both share one goal: to make games that are fun. In this sense, our new shared title will raise the bar to a new level".

Building on its successful publishing performance to date, Gameforge will further expand its global relationships by working with Robot Entertainment.  This opportunity is part of Gameforge’s initiative to bring its many years of expertise in the field of online gaming to Western brands and products.
