The FEWW is a 4-player, 3D side-scrolling beat-em'-up that combines the fast paced, arcade action of games like Double Dragon, The Simpsons, and

TMNT: Turtles in Time with the elements of Fire, Earth, Wind, and Water (FEWW). Play as an element that can temporarily fuse (FEWWs) with another player (or two others, or three others) in order to power-up and solve puzzles, defeat enemies, and overcome obstacles.

In a high tech science lab, scientists have been experimenting with the elements to learn about the building blocks of matter in order to exploit their secrets for profit. One night during a freak thunderstorm, the lab is struck by lightning, and the elements become self aware. You play as one of four elements as you escape the lab and ultimately destroy the evil corporation. You must fuse together different elements as you fight your way to the head of the corporation to shut it down for good.

Try The FEWW solo, or team up with up to three other players  and battle your way across eight levels, including fights with mini bosses, and end level boss battles as you try and defeat the evil corporation and free the elements once and for all!

The game is being created with Maya and Unity, for play on the PC, with plans to launch on consoles shortly after.

The team consists of:

Floyd Bishop has over 16 years of experience in animation, having done character animation on Ice Age (2002) and hair/fur simulation on

Barnyard: The Movie. Floyd has spent the last fourteen years making AAA games at large studios, most recently Sony Online Entertainment, where he was a Senior Animator on games like Free Realms, Clone Wars Adventures, and Landmark, among others.

Artificial Intelligence, controls, and general encounters will be handled by Jason Mellott, an experienced game designer who has worked on titles such as Free Realms and Clone Wars Adventures.

Jessica Rojeck, fellow SOE alum and animator on Free Realms, Clone Wars Adventures, and Landmark, will also be animating on the project.

We've also got writer (and stand up comic) Julia Prescott helping out with writing some cinematics, dialog, and funny boss battle banter.

Julia is a contributor at VICE, Host of Friday Night Film School Podcast, and a writer for "MAD", airing on Cartoon Network, and The Aquabats! Super Show!

Kevin Manthei is creating an original soundtrack for The FEWW. Kevin is perhaps best  known for his music on the animated series Invader Zim.

Some of his other game credits include Neverwinter, Star Trek Online, Marvel Universe Online, Twisted Metal Black, and many others.
