NEW YORK – July 9, 2014 – Den of Geek, an enthusiast driven pop culture site, has announced their very own WildStar Fighting Championship league that will crown the best of the best 1v1 duelers in WildStar, Carbine Studios' highly rated sci-fi MMORPG.

The premiere 1v1 dueling PvP league is for those that want more from their duels. The WFC--that's right, like the UFC but for us Nexus inhabitants--is a fighting organization looking to crown the first WFC Champion following their inaugural event on Saturday, July 12 beginning at 8PM Eastern on the Bloodsworn PvP server. One of Bloodsworn's very own, Founders, has created a WFC Arena using WildStar's incredible housing system, complete with a UFC-style octagon, judge's table, and seating for live attendees. This arena will soon become home to Bloodsworn's greatest duelers.

Eight participants for each of three weight classes—DPS, Heals, and Tanks – will compete in a bracket style tournament, with the winner being crowned Champion of their respective weight class and earning in-game currency, 1 platinum. Each fight will be broadcast on Den of Geek's official Twitch.

If you're on the Bloodsworn PvP server, on the DOMINION side, and are interested in becoming our first champion, email us at to request a sign-up. All maxed level 50 players are welcome and encouraged to apply. We're limiting this league to JUST level 50 players as to avoid unfair advantages as much as possible.

For rules, regulations, and details on how to enter, visit Den of Geek, the official home of the WildStar Fighting Championship.

WildStar Fighting Championship and Den of Geek have no affiliation with Carbine Studios, NCSOFT, or any of their employees. This tournament is not officially sanctioned by any of those groups.
