Peterborough, JUNE 18th, 2019 — Developer D’Avekki Studios has today released a playable interactive interview for their upcoming FMV game Dark Nights with Poe and Munro.

The interview lets fans interactively question the stars of the game to find out more about what it is, how it will work and when it will be released. The five-minute experience, which can be replayed to view all of the branching questions and the three randomly selected endings, is available publicly on the Eko platform here:

“We’re always looking for ways to innovate and make things more interesting,” says D’Avekki Studios director Tim Cowles. “Earlier this year we premiered The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker Live - and now we’re making interactive interviews to give fans more fun from the get-go.”

“We’re fairly sure this hasn’t been done before ,” says D’Avekki Studios producer Lynda Cowles. “But even if it has, we can’t think of a better way to introduce players to the game than by letting them question the actors.”

Intended for release later this year on PC and consoles, ‘Dark Nights with Poe and Munro’ will comprise six self-contained episodes, featuring 100% Full Motion Video with branching narrative and supernatural themes. Actors Klemens Koehring and Leah Cunard are reprising their roles as John ‘Poe’ Pope and Ellis Munro, first seen in 2018’s ‘The Shapeshifting Detective’ FMV game from the same developers.

Husband-and-wife team D’Avekki Studios are based in Wisbech, UK and have been making best-selling murder mystery dinner party games since 2004. More recently, they’ve achieved critical success making FMV games, notably with 2017’s Guinness World Record-breaking ‘The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker’.
