Tap Empire 2.0, an innovative free-to-play mobile game combining saga map progression with idle clicker gameplay releases globally today on the App Store and Google Play. Tap Empire was designed and developed by MeeWow Games, an indie game studio led by former Plants vs. Zombies producer Ben Ahroni.

This 2.0 relaunch includes the first installment of the game’s highly anticipated World 2, as well as MeeWow’s redesigned and rebuilt-from-the-ground-up take on Live Events. Live Events are now “Downloadable Empires” which are 100% free to download and play, and offer an innovative take on the prestige mechanics found in traditional idle games.

In Tap Empire, players are tasked with taking down the evil business magnate Mr. Bossworth by building up a rival empire. Join the blinged-out Piggy B and genius inventor Kim and simply tap, tap, tap your way to a booming megacorp!

You’ll soon be earning fistfulls of coins which can be used to upgrade your business, while you research new inventions to improve your efficiency. All the while, your robot workforce will ensure profits keep rolling in even when you’re away from the game.

Complementing the significant games industry experience of Ben Ahroni (PopCap Games, Microsoft Game Studios, Lumosity), MeeWow also boasts the talents of CTO Joe Trdinich – formerly Engineering Manager at Yahoo! and Director of Technology for the San Francisco 49ers.

Tap Empire is available in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese. MeeWow Games is headquartered in San Francisco, California.
