SOUTHAMPTON, UK - November 13, 2019 -

Wasumi’s Dream Adventure is an anime-inspired action-adventure game that also teaches you Japanese/Chinese/English through immersive 3D gameplay.

The Team

This game will feature exclusive music from legendary video game composer David Wise (Donkey Kong Country, Battletoads) and is a collaboration with University College London (number one in the world for Education). The game also integrates state-of-the-art AI language feedback technology from the University of Southampton (Russell Group) and has been developed by former Rare ltd, and Sony employees, led by AI PhD Student Travis Ralph-Donaldson.

Wasumi is no ordinary high school student, there is something very special about her, by day she enjoys playing games and studying languages with her uncle Achu sensei, by night she is teleported into a fantastical dream world. There, she defends mega crystals from the evil cyborg Robochu and battles within a distant dystopian future as a super mech-girl.  As her nightly escapades become more and more vivid, sometimes Wasumi struggles to know what is reality and what is a dream. Help Wasumi find the key to these fantastical adventures, while also unlocking your own potential, in Wasumi's Dream ADVENTURE.

Wasumi’s teacher Achu sensei is played by Kazuhiko Inoue, the voice of Kakashi (from popular anime series Naruto) and Wasumi herself is played by Hina Kino the voice of Hanako Honda (Asobi Asobase).

Wasumi's Dream Adventure will be released initially on PC, iOS and Android with console releases (Switch/Playstation 4/Xbox One) planned for the near future.

The team are currently also running a Kickstarter campaign, which launched on November 12th 2019.
