Krakow, Poland – 23 July 2020. Digital Dragons today announced it will team with Valve, GOG.COM and Walkabout Games this September for its Indie Showcase. From 15-18 of September, Digital Dragons will feature sixty games on Steam and GOG.COM for viewers at home to sample.

All qualifying games on Steam will be showcased with a playable demo available to all, and GOG.COM will select fifteen titles to be shared on its platform. On the last day of the event a virtual award ceremony will be held to celebrate the top three games of the show as well as announce the result of the community-voted award.

Digital Dragons will also provide participating developers with a Business Pass to the full Digital Dragons online conference, to create networking opportunities and support the selected developers.

“The Digital Dragons Indie Showcase team hopes to have many entries from all around the world, on the highest possible level,” said Maria Błędowska, Digital Dragons’ Indie Showcase Coordinator. “Apart from showcasing games on Steam and GOG.COM, we’re also giving one Business Pass per qualified game to enable further networking possibilities for indie developers.”

Developers can submit their games via the Indie Showcase website here. Registration will be open until 24 August and a jury consisting of game development specialists and veteran journalists will select the 60 games featured in the Showcase.

Originally scheduled for May 2020, this year’s Digital Dragons gaming conference will take place online and will feature speakers from the likes of Remedy, Gearbox and EA DICE. Delegates will have access to a comprehensive online meeting system via a dedicated app, and Digital Dragons is excited to make its Indie Showcase available to gamers around the world for free through Steam and GOG.com.
