Thursday 22 October, London - Flick Solitaire marks the end of their Black History Month celebrations with a splendidly spooky new deck - Monster Mayhem.

October has been a bustling month for this mobile game with the global mission to showcase artists and their art by-way-of a good ol’ game of solitaire.  The game makes a clear stand in its support for Black History Month by exclusively featuring four talented black artists.

Bringing a chilling close to celebrations is Philadelphia based artist - Rain Demetri.  Rain originally from a small town in New Jersey moved to Philadelphia four years ago following university.  Working in construction as a carpenter and a freelance artist, Rain is a natural creative. Her Monster Mayhem deck deals ghoulish characters fit for any Halloween party.  Fans will notice the new in-game spooky special effects too.

Festivities began back on October 1st the first black artist to feature - Jemila Green-Okoloba and her sweet baked deck - Best in Dough.  Then the street pop inspired Skull-duggery deck featured from October 8th created by Croydon artist Bareface.  Fans were then treated to a history field-trip rediscovering greats from black history with the Black History Deck.  Inspirational faces were brought back to life by the game’s third artist to feature - Gifty.

As a treat, new players can choose the current ‘Artist Of The Week’ deck to enjoy straight away. So far 60% of ALL players have picked one of these terrific new decks (out of a choice of 12) proving their appeal and popularity.

The Black History Month Deck made a huge impact fuelled by faces from black history and have been downloaded all across the world.  The Black History Deck assets are available for schools certifying Flick Solitaire’s mission to be more than just a mobile game.

All four fabulous decks will feature forever in game for fans.  With a pool of talented new artists planned from now and into 2021, Flick Solitaire has no fear considering developer Ian Masters initially doubted his sanity reimagining Solitaire.

“October has been our busiest month yet! It’s a lot to juggle supporting the artists to meet deadlines for new deck launches but so much fun!  It’s always good to see the finished artwork in-game.  I’m excited for fans to see who’s up next.  Our new decks show our celebrations aren’t stopping between now and New Year that’s for sure! We are only a tiny team at Flick Solitaire but a huge heart for our artists and their work.”
