Wow, it says it's a visual guide based on the article right there in the first line. Did you post this just to troll or did you really not even read it?

It actually looks EXACTLY like it.

In the intro and Credits page I mention that this is a visual guide based from that article. I've been in close contact with the author, Ben Bauer, and he has been very supportive. It's nice to know there are people out there watching out for theft, but please read at least the first sentence of an article before condemning it.

Absolutely love it! You have a solid website and level design background too. I'm curious, is there a PDF version available somewhere?

I should, I haven't done one yet since I wasn't sure if there was going to be any changes due to reader's feedback. Luckily I haven't gotten any feedback over any of the content being confusing so I don't see why not.

I'm that Ben Bauer and I certainly approved Bobby's work. I'm glad someone took the time and revised and refreshed a 10 year old article.

If you don't believe me please write me an email to the address in the last page of your linked PDF (which is the same Bobby used) and I verify your concern.

Nice to see that updated article. The old one already was a classic :)

Hi! Thanks a lot Bobby for posting this! I was looking something similar for help as I am trying to design a multiplayer for the first time. Great stuff that put it in visual form. Thank you very much to Ben also as this is amazing work.

Very nice article Bobby !
I really like the presentation effort you have put in here, it really makes the whole thing accessible and pleasant to read. Now I'll have a close look at Ben's original article too.

Bobby, great piece of information! And beautiful to boot. Thanks for taking the time to illustrate Ben's paper.

Man I found Ben's guide years ago when trying to figure out what the heck level design was and it was hugely helpful. It's awesome to be able to go through it again in such an interesting format. Thanks!
