Ahead of Ubisoft's fiscal 2008 first half results expected November 20th, Wedbush Morgan's Michael Pachter has predicted the company will announce full year sales estimates of €825 million ($1.21 billion), as Assassin's Creed, Haze and its casual lineup lead a strong holiday lineup.

Pachter notes that Ubisoft has already informally said its first half saw sales of €261 million ($372.86 million), up 51 percent from the €172 million ($245.34 million) recorded for the same period in 2006.

"We continue to expect strong sales of next-gen hardware to provide a near term catalyst for Ubisoft share price appreciation," said Pachter. The latest U.S. sales numbers from NPD showed hardware numbers were up 127% to $469.7 million in October.

"We believe that the company’s lineup of casual games will benefit from strong DS sales," he concluded, "and holiday games Assassin’s Creed and Haze position it to deliver upside to consensus revenue and earnings estimates for FY:08."
